Ashtamangala Deva Prasna
This is a popular article and has been published several times with slight editorial differences. It first appeared in an anthology of Astrology called Lessons in Hindu Astrology (1997). It then appeared in Diamond Fire Journal (1997) and again appeared in the Indian Vedic Astrology monthly magazine Express Star Teller (May 1999)
The Fallacy of the trans-Saturnian Planets
This article appeared in January 1998 edition of The Astrological Magazine, Bangalore, India . It is aimed at the more advanced student and discusses some of the foundational topics of Vedic Astrology. After receiving this article Gayatri Devi, the daughter of Dr. B.V. Raman, and present editor of AM wrote me and commented:
"Father liked this article very much, it is exactly in keeping with his own opinions."
What is Vedic Astrology?
This article is basically a consumer's guide to Vedic Astrology. The following is an appreciation of this article by a reader in Ukraine:
"Your presentation about this problem was very wonderful. It is so deep and explains not only some particular case but an astrology ethics in general. I don't know anything about astrology but nowadays there are so many talks about astrology everywhere and on every level that we (non-astrologers), not knowing how to look at it, become very confused and disturbed. Then by chance I was given to read your paper What is Vedic Astrology? and everything has become so clear. Actually, this article is so nice that I think that every one should read it before going to an astrologer. I would like to thank you again for giving proper understanding about astrology to all seekers." Kancanetra Dasa, Ukraine
